Small Business of the Month: QueenCare

March 20, 2019 - Monika Mathews runs QueenCare, a luxury skincare brand, and Life Enrichment Group, a nonprofit organization that helps Seattle youth. Both ventures were inspired by the lessons she learned in her own life.

December 12, 2018 - QueenCare offers a line of skincare products at its new storefront at 3702 S. Hudson St. in Columbia City. But its mission runs deeper, providing mentorship for young women and fighting against the ongoing gentrification in the South End.
Monika Mathews celebrated her store with a grand opening Dec. 8, where she highlighted the work helping young women learn entrepreneurship.
